My modus operandi is to get things done!
But how is that possible?
Ever since I've gotten into being a political researcher, I've kept the same modus operandi: do something that makes progress toward my goals in life: i.e., be alive as long as I can; do what I can do contribute to the ultimate goals I am pursuing beyond self-preservation--namely, those of the preservation of the human species and peace and the well-being among us living.
Concretely, I must apprise the situation I am confronting and see what I can do that with others' help (which I will solicit) we can work together toward the ends-in-view. If I am talking to my health aide to lay out what interactions we will have today to realize these goals specifically, I try to illicit from her what she's willing to do that will help me achieve steps toward my well-being. "Are you in the mood to go shopping for groceries?" I might start off. Then, we proceed together by my enumerating other acts that I've envisioned for the day to achieve what I think would make up a 'good day for me,' such as doing the grocery shopping and putting away the purchased items around my apartment. And, there are compromises as I set forth my intentions, and she chimes her reactions.
So, when I am discussing matters with some governmental official, I begin first by probing where's his government at, what are they wiling to do in this situation wherein we both are participants, in order to get something done that would constitute realizing our intended purposes in the given situation at hand--here, now; before us in situ.
